Scheduling Improvements
New visual indicator for resource conflicts in schedules and quick access to schedules
Open 'Edit Task' dialog on double click on the taskbar in all Gantt charts
Gantt charts can now be viewed in full screen and exported to PDF
CCO tasks for $0 cost centres from the job estimate are no longer automatically added to the job schedule until a cost is allocated to them
Supervisors are notified when new CCO tasks have been added to the schedule via job estimate updates and have the ability to confirm new tasks
Now you can ‘undelete’ tasks in schedules and a toggle has been added to view all deleted tasks
New icon to change the size of the Current Tasks List table in the Task details
Improved handling of completed tasks in various schedule reports

Now when you click “Send Request to Support” via the help menu a chat window will appear to engage with our support team and access the help docs without leaving the Builder Portal.

What's Next
We're continually working to improve G.J. Software and are excited about several upcoming initiatives:
New Development Team: We're in the middle of bringing on an entirely new team of software developers. This change brings fresh perspectives and diverse technological backgrounds, potentially allowing us to deliver features more quickly in the future.
Note: There will be a transition period as we handle knowledge transfer, which may result in some temporary delays.
Planned Improvements: We're focusing on enhancing several key areas:
Scheduling system
Financial reporting accuracy
Pre-construction scheduling
Graphic take-off functionality
Mobile App Survey: Look out for a survey in the next couple of weeks about potential improvements to our G.J. Manage Mobile app. Your feedback is invaluable!
Ongoing Optimizations: As always, we'll continue our efforts to optimize performance and enhance user experience across the platform.
Technology Subcommittee: In partnership with the Franchise Advisory Council, establishing a Technology Subcommittee and are currently reviewing nominations for advisors to help shape the direction of G.J. Software and other technology services.
We'll be carefully prioritising these initiatives to determine which ones we can tackle first. The timeline for implementation may vary as we work through this process. We appreciate your patience and continued support as we strive to make G.J. Software even better for you.
