Version: Frontend 5.4.8 / Backend 5.4.34

Following our release last week, our second update for June delivers another round of improvements and fixes. This release is focused on improving your workflow and resolving key issues in House & Land Packages, Graphic Takeoff, and general usability. We've fixed a critical bug that prevented the publishing of new packages to previously used addresses and introduced several enhancements to save you time and make data entry more efficient.

Improvements

Graphic Takeoff

  • Graphic Takeoff Now Remembers Your View Preferences: Your display settings in Graphic Takeoff (GTO) are now automatically saved during your session. Preferences such as toggling overlays, snap-to-point, and data boxes will be remembered, saving you from re-configuring your view each time you open a takeoff.

User Experience & Productivity

  • Increased Field Height for Better Text Visibility: The height of text fields has been increased in Job Specifications, Color Selections, and the Items, Components, and Cost Centers sections of Estimating. This change allows you to view longer descriptions and clauses without needing to hover, making information easier to read and review.

  • Expanded Character Limits in Activities: We've significantly increased the character limits for fields when creating a new activity. The Subject and Location fields now support up to 120 characters, while the Description and Notes fields have been expanded to 4,000 characters to allow for more detailed entries. A character counter has also been added for convenience.

House & Land Packages

  • Support for Fractional Land Area Values: You can now enter land area values less than one (e.g., 0.24) when creating or editing a House and Land Package. This provides greater flexibility for accurately documenting smaller lot sizes, with a new minimum value of 0.1.

Fixed Issues

House & Land Packages

  • Resolved Error When Publishing to a Previously Used Address: A critical issue has been fixed where the system incorrectly blocked the publishing of a House and Land Package to an address that had been used by a previously deleted package. The integration settings are now correctly cleared upon deletion, ensuring you can reuse an address for a new listing without errors.

User Experience & Productivity

  • Corrected Delete Icon Alignment in Color Selections: An issue causing the delete icon to be misaligned in the Color Selections screen has been resolved. The icon is now correctly positioned on the right side of the item, improving user interface consistency and preventing it from covering text.

Known Issues

No new critical known issues have been introduced with this release. The development team continues to monitor platform performance and address any ongoing items in future updates.

Availability

  • United States: These updates are available now.

  • Australia & New Zealand: These updates will be available on June 24, 2025.

What's Next

We are actively working to enhance your productivity by streamlining the estimating and quoting process. You can look forward to new features, including one-click item cloning, a numeric selector for adding multiple quantities at once, and an in-line search for existing codes to improve data consistency. To further improve usability, we are developing enhancements to increase the file size limit for attachments and automate owner data entry for e-signatures. Our team is also focused on improving platform stability by resolving a known schedule template dependency and ensuring contact details sync correctly from Xero.
