How to Reset a Stripe Subscription Activation for an Office

Re-trigger the "Make Payment" prompt for an office if their subscription fails to auto-create.

Before You Begin

  • This article is for Franchisor Finance and System Admin users only.

  • You must be logged into the Corporate environment (not a franchise office).

When to Use This

Use this workflow if a Franchise Owner logs in but does not see the "Make Payment" prompt (and their subscription has not been created in Stripe). This process forces the system to re-evaluate the office's subscription eligibility.


Steps

  1. Log in to the Corporate environment.

  2. Navigate to Setup > Offices.

  3. Locate the affected office.

  4. Block Access for the office temporarily.

  5. Unblock Access for the office (make Active).

  6. Instruct the Franchise Owner (First Active User / Google Drive Owner) to log in again.

  7. Upon login, the system will re-check the subscription status and should successfully create the Pending subscription, displaying the "Make Payment" prompt.


Verification

1. Ask the Franchise Owner to confirm they see the red Make Payment button.

2. (Optional) Verify in Stripe Dashboard that a new Subscription object has been created.
