This release introduces a valuable enhancement to the job completion process, providing greater flexibility for multi-unit sales. We've also rolled out improvements to estimating and user management, along with key fixes to improve system messaging and stability. These updates are designed to streamline your daily workflows and provide a more intuitive user experience.
New Features
Specify Number of Units During Job Creation and Completion: You can now enter the number of units associated with a sale during the job creation and completion processes. A No. of Units field has been added to the "Complete a Sale," "DPP Job Creation," and "Quick Job Creation" workflows. This value is displayed as a read-only field on the job details page, ensuring clarity for multi-unit jobs from start to finish.
Improvements
Estimating & Price Books
Enhanced Control Over Deleting Cost Centers in Job Estimates: We've updated the rules for managing cost centers within Job Estimates. You can now delete a cost center if its total value is $0.00 and its associated job order has not been printed. For accuracy, a cost center cannot be deleted if it contains items linked to a component. This prevents accidental data loss and ensures your estimates remain accurate.
Component Filter Always Visible in Job Estimates: The Components filter will now remain visible at the top of the Job Estimates grid, even when you apply other filters like "not zero" or "zero." This ensures you can always access and manage components without interruption.
User Management & Productivity
Easily Identify the Google Drive Owner: A new column with a checkmark icon has been added to the
Setup > Manager > Users
tab. This allows Corporate and Master users to quickly see which user is designated as the Google Drive owner for an office without needing to check folder permissions manually.
Clearer Messaging for Inactive SMS Feature: If you attempt to send an SMS from an office where the Twilio integration is not active, you will now see a clear pop-up message: "SMS is not active for your office. Please contact support for setup." This provides immediate, helpful feedback instead of an uninformative error.
Fixed Issues
Jobs
Job Order Sorting by Status Works Correctly: An issue has been resolved where clicking the 'Send By/Status' column header in the Job Orders section did not sort the list. You can now correctly sort job orders by their print status in both ascending and descending order.
Communication
Resolved SMS Access Errors: An issue that caused intermittent errors and prevented some users from accessing the SMS message center has been fixed. All users can now reliably access their SMS communications without encountering stack trace errors.
Known Issues
No new critical known issues have been introduced with this release. The development team continues to monitor platform performance and address any ongoing items in future updates.
