Version: Frontend 5.4.13 / Backend 5.4.40

This month’s release introduces significant improvements to contact management, enhances system stability with new warning messages, and delivers several user-requested updates to streamline your daily workflows. These changes focus on improving data accuracy, user experience, and overall efficiency within the platform.

New Features

Contacts & Leads

  • Enhanced Phone Number Formatting and Validation
We've completely overhauled the phone number fields for contacts to significantly improve data accuracy, validation, and organisation. This update introduces several new features:

    • International Formatting: A new country code selector and region-specific phone masks now automatically format numbers as you type, ensuring they are valid and correctly stored.

    • New Phone Memo Fields: A dedicated field has been added to input a memo next to their number.

Data Migration and Preservation
To ensure a seamless transition and protect your existing data, the original, untouched text from your old Phone 1 and Phone 2 fields has been safely migrated into the new Extension/Memo field for each respective number. This preserves any important notes, names, or extensions you may have previously stored alongside a phone number. The system has also automatically populated the new structured phone fields with any valid numbers it could identify from your original data.

Improvements

Estimating & Price Books

  • Warning for Components with Pending Bulk Updates
To prevent potential data conflicts, a new pop-up message will now alert you if you try to access a component that has an outstanding bulk update task in progress. This proactive warning ensures system stability and data integrity while updates are being applied.

Reporting & WIP

  • DPP Jobs Now Included in WIP Report by Default
Based on your feedback, the Exclude DPP checkbox on the WIP screen is now unticked by default. This change streamlines the reporting process.

AU ONLY: This specific checkbox and update are applicable only to the Australian region. DPP jobs are already included by default in all other regions.

Fixed Issues

Estimating & Price Books

  • Item Quantity Now Defaults to '1' When Clicked
We've fixed a workflow interruption when adding items to an estimate or quote. Previously, when selecting an item with a null quantity from the Find Items & Components dialog, you had to manually click the plus icon to set the initial quantity. Now, simply clicking an item's row automatically sets its quantity to '1', saving a step and creating a smoother, more efficient experience.

Job Creation

  • Removed Duplicate Contract Price Field in Sales Flow
We have resolved a visual bug in the 'Complete a Sale' and 'Create a DPP Job' workflows where the Contract Price field was incorrectly appearing twice. The screen now correctly displays a single field, providing a cleaner user experience.

Availability

All updates in this release are now live and available in all regions.
