Sending Job Progress Reports

Generate Job Progress Reports for construction schedules, preview in Jasper Reports, and optionally send to Sub-Contractors and Suppliers.

The Job Progress Report provides a summary overview of all active job schedules– tracking progress, completion status, and critical path details. This report can be customised based on various filters and is essential for monitoring job performance. This report is crucial for tracking the progress of various construction jobs, ensuring that all parties are updated with the latest job status.

Steps to View Job Progress Report

  1. Open the Construction Schedules Page

    • Navigate to the Construction Schedules page from your main menu.

  2. Accessing the Job Progress Report

    • On the toolbar, locate the File button and click it.

  3. Define Filter Criteria

    • In the Job Progress filters form, set the criteria for the report:

      • Supervisor: Select ‘All’ to generate the report for all supervisors or specify a particular supervisor.

      • Include Completed Jobs: Tick the box to include completed jobs in the report. By default, they are excluded.

      • Include Finalised Jobs: Tick the box to include finalised jobs in the report. By default, they are excluded.

      • Show Critical Path Cost Centres: Tick the box to include Cost Centres from the Critical Path in the report.

  4. Preview the Report

    • To preview the report, click "Preview." This will open the Link to Report form.

    • Click the link to transition to the report in the Jasper Reports system.

    • Review the report and close the form when complete.

  5. Deliver the Report

    • To send the report to Sub-Contractors and Suppliers, check the corresponding box.

    • Once you check this box, the "Deliver" button becomes active.

    • Click Deliver to send the report. The report will be emailed to resources assigned to tasks in the schedule only for jobs in which they are assigned.

Tip: Utilising the filters helps in generating tailored reports that meet specific monitoring needs, providing a clear picture of job performance and areas that need attention.
