The Viewing Multiple Schedules feature allows you to view and compare multiple schedules across different stages, such as construction, pre-construction, maintenance/warranty, and sales. This feature provides a comprehensive view of various jobs, helping you manage tasks efficiently by combining multiple schedules into one consolidated view.
Accessing the Combined Schedule View
You can view and compare multiple schedules by following these steps:
Above the list of schedules (construction, pre-construction, maintenance/warranty, or sales), locate the Combined Schedule View icon and click it.
In the Find Schedule form, select multiple schedules to display on the Gantt Chart.
Click Add Selected.
The Combined Schedule View page opens, displaying the list of Jobs on the left and their progress activity bars on the right. This allows you to see the distribution of tasks across different schedules throughout the timeline.
Adjusting Task Duration for Evaluation
You can adjust the duration of tasks on the combined schedule view for evaluation purposes. However, these changes cannot be saved. To adjust task durations:
Expand a specific job to view its tasks.
Change the start/end dates in the task list or adjust the duration of tasks on the Gantt chart timeline by dragging the taskbars.
Note: This feature allows you to evaluate how different adjustments impact the overall schedule without committing to changes.
Evaluating Multiple Schedules
Using the Combined Schedule View, you can:
Compare the progress of multiple Jobs side by side.
Identify potential conflicts or delays across different schedules.
Adjust task durations for a better understanding of timeline impacts.
By consolidating all types of schedules into a single view, you can make more informed decisions and ensure optimal resource allocation and project management.
This integrated approach helps you manage and track the completion of specific tasks across various stages effectively, providing a visual representation of your project's progress and dependencies.
